In the world of animals found in the investment area, a group of birds deserves attention. There are over many different species here. They live in fields. River meadows and valleys. Many of them are agricultural landscape species: pheasant, capercaillie, red-backed lion, bunting, lark, kestrel, partridge, bruise pigeon, bullfinch, or common hoopoe, black-tailed hoopoe. In the fragmented communities of the Wieprz River, we can meet various species of woodpeckers (white-backed, three-toed) along with the largest representative of the species – the black woodpecker, as well as tit and flycatchers. Birds of prey also nest here, including: buzzard, honey buzzard, kestrel and lesser spotted eagle. We can also meet a white stork, an owl (Puszczyk, Płomykówka) and a bat.
